Michael Lynch
Michael Lynch has proudly called Peters Township home since 2009, where he and his wife are raising their three children. Over the past 16 years, Michael has been an active leader in the community, serving in coaching and leadership roles across youth football, baseball, and wrestling programs.
A 2002 honors graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with degrees in Political Science and Philosophy, Michael has built a successful 20+ year career in enterprise sales leadership, specializing in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data management infrastructure. His professional background has equipped him with the skills to navigate complex challenges, drive thoughtful solutions, and manage resources responsibly.
Michael’s candidacy is rooted in a passion for empowering students with the tools and opportunities they need to excel both academically and athletically. Through deep relationships cultivated with families throughout Peters Township, he has gained a balanced perspective, understanding the needs and priorities of residents with and without children in the district.
A strong advocate for parental choice and responsible progress, Michael is committed to representing the best interests of all Peters Township residents while maintaining a focus on academic excellence, athletic opportunity, and fiscal responsibility.

Richard Soeder
Richard Soeder has lived in the South Hills of Pittsburgh his entire life. He is the founder and owner of his own accounting firm, where he works with many small businesses out of his Southpointe offices. Richard and his wife moved to Peters Township in 2021 and are raising four children — ages 12, 10, 8, and 1 — who are active in a variety of Peters Township sports programs.
As a former Athletic Director at St. Louise, Richard brings valuable experience in coordinating with multiple organizations and maintaining fiscal responsibility for school and athletic programs. His leadership in community and extracurricular activities demonstrates his commitment to youth development and educational support.
Richard is running for the Peters Township School Board to help ensure that the district has the necessary resources to support every student’s potential. He is eager to collaborate with teachers and administrators on strengthening curriculum and implementing effective technology strategies that equip students for long-term success.

Sarah Kennedy
Sarah Kennedy and her husband, Adam, have lived in Peters Township since 2019. They have three children — Madison (7), Hannah (5), and Thomas (3) — who currently attend or will attend Peters Township schools.
Sarah grew up in Central PA and attended Penn State University, where she earned a degree in Nutritional Science with a minor in Biology. She has worked full-time in the pharmaceutical industry for 12 years, holding roles in sales, account management, and field training. Currently, she serves as an Account Manager focusing on Long Term Care settings.
She is also deeply involved with the Bower Hill PTA, serving on multiple committees and as a grade coordinator and homeroom mom over the past three years.
Sarah’s focus for the school board centers on parent involvement and parent choice. She believes that while Peters Township has excellent teachers, parental engagement is crucial to student success. She advocates for more open communication and believes that school should be a place for education and development — not advancing non-educational agendas. Sarah also stresses the importance of fiscal responsibility and ensuring taxpayer funds are used wisely to support a high-quality educational experience.

Tom Adrian
With a career dedicated to managing public sector budgets across education, public safety, and housing, Tom Adrian brings deep experience to school board service.
Tom has successfully overseen both operating and capital budgets for government agencies, including managing expenditures for the City of Pittsburgh Housing Authority’s protective services and public safety initiatives. His approach is rooted in fiscal responsibility, transparency, and efficient resource allocation to prioritize resident needs.
In addition to his public service work, Tom is active in volunteer efforts that support healthier living standards for elderly and vulnerable populations. He has a proven track record in federal and local funding management, large-scale contract oversight, audits, and regulatory compliance.

Valerie Glyptis
The significant overhaul of the U.S. Department of Education under Executive Order 14242, issued by President Trump, is reshaping school board responsibilities in real time. This is Valerie Glyptis’s primary motivation to serve on the Peters Township School District Board.
As federal funding for programs like Title I and IDEA may be impacted, Valerie is committed to ensuring Peters Township maintains a student-centered approach that respects community input and meets local needs. She supports transparent governance and fiscally responsible decisions that reflect the priorities of residents and taxpayers.
With experience managing global budgets, business development, and mergers and acquisitions, Valerie brings seasoned leadership to high-stakes financial and organizational decision-making. She’s adept at guiding “go-no-go” determinations on capital investments and advocating for efficient resource allocation.
Valerie is prepared to meet the challenges ahead and serve the Peters Township community with integrity, transparency, and commitment.
